Zeta Organizational Leadership (ZOL) Conference

Members of Psi Omicron Zeta successfully completed the ZOL training held in Colorado. The Zeta Organizational Leadership (ZOL) program is a future-focused, nationally structured intensified leadership training program that serves as the blueprint for the Sorority's leadership development and enhancement efforts.

Manassas African American Heritage Festival

Psi Omicron Zeta gave out school supplies at their booth at the African American Heritage Festival. The festival is organized by The African American Foundation of Prince William County. It is a family friendly celebration of African American arts and culture that includes over 125 venders of: arts and crafts dealers, retail, youth group presentations, college and school exhibits, Health Fair, Business and Job Expos, a Classic Car Show, and food vendors.

Welcome Back Breakfast

Psi Omicron Zeta provided breakfast for teachers and staff of Metz Middle School before the start of their 2023-2024 school year.

60th Anniversary of the March on Washington

Psi Omicron Zeta participated on the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington. It has been 60 years since Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other Civil Rights Leaders organized the pivotal March on Washington in August 1963.

Zeta Day on the Hill

Psi Omicron Zeta chapter members talked to their member of Congress about the importance of supporting the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act. The Act contains 13 individual bills that address the high maternal mortality rate and significant disparities in pregnancy outcomes.

Essential Items Donation to Metz Middle School

Psi Omicron Zeta chapter donated essential items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary napkins, and personal wipes to the students of Metz Middle School.

Trunk or Treat

Psi Omicron Zeta and Phi Kappa Zeta (Woodbridge) chapter members participated in the ARC of Prince William County’s annual trunk or treat.

Commonwealth of Virginia Leadership Conference

Psi Omicron Zeta attended the Commonwealth of Virginia Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Charter Anniversary

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter celebrated it’s 13th anniversary on November 10.

Holiday Party

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter, Amicae of Manassas, and its Youth Affiliates did community service and played holiday-themed games in an afternoon of fun at their Annual Holiday party.

Wreaths Across America

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter, Amicae of Manassas, and its Youth Affiliates volunteered for Wreaths Across America to lay wreaths on the gravestones of Veterans at Quantico National Cemetery in December. In January, we participated in the wreath clean up.

Unity Reed High School Donation

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter donated hundreds of personal care and toiletry items to the students of Unity Reed High School in Manassas, VA.

Founder’s Day Community Service

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter volunteered at the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry and was joined by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s 15th State Director, La’Ketha D. Prioleau.

Joint Blue and White Church Service

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter joined Phi Kappa Zeta Chapter and Omicron Zeta Sigma Chapter for church service to commemorate Founder’s Day. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc was founded on January 9, 1914. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc was founded on January 16, 1920. They are the only National Panhellenic Council organizations to be constitutionally bound.

Zeta Day at the Capitol

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter joined other Zeta Phi Beta members from the Commonwealth of Virginia for a day of advocacy and action at Zeta Day at the Capital in Richmond, VA.

Trivia Night

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter was joined by members of Phi Kappa Zeta Chapter in supporting The ARC of Prince William County’s Valentine themed Trivia Night.

Finer Womanhood Luncheon

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter spent a great afternoon at our luncheon at the Black Sheep restaurant in observance of Finer Womanhood Month.

Elder Care Donation

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter donated incontinence items to the Overflow Room to give away to people who need them.

March Madness Fundraiser

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter raised money for our Scholarship fund at an event at Buffalo Wild Wings in Manassas, VA.

Bingo Support

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter supported the ARC of Prince William County with their “100-years” themed Bingo night. We supplied prizes, snacks, and support for the participants.
