About Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter

 

 

History

 

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter was chartered on November 6, 2010 in Manassas, Virginia, by eight (8) zealous women: Soror Mishta Brooks, Soror Tameko Friend, Soror Andrea Jones, Soror Loleta Lewis, Soror Judy Meekins, Soror Trica Miles, Soror Valanda Riley and Soror Kenya Whitener. Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter was established to continue the illustrious ideals and traditions of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated through sisterhood, scholarship and service in Manassas, Virginia and the surrounding areas.

 




Purpose

We are organized as a chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and sister Greek letter Sorority to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., to bind ourselves together for the purpose of:

1) Promoting education by encouraging the highest standards of scholarship
2) Soliciting worthwhile projects within the community
3) Fostering a spirit of sisterly love
4) Promoting the ideal of Finer Womanhood


Mission

Chartered on November 6, 2010, Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter is dedicated to fostering, empowering, and uplifting individuals and promoting healthier lifestyle choices for all ages, gender and ethnicity through advocacy, education, and training. We will strive to be a beacon of inspiration and embrace altruism in every facet of community service and finer womanhood.

 

Vision

Psi Omicron Zeta Chapter envisions a large group of professional and dedicated women working together to build a strong and supportive community based system. We foresee a continuous collaboration between our cohesive organization and a networking community eager to embrace and enrich each others lives.
